Excellent! We both had Beef chimichangas, with rice and beans. The restaurant was very busy but we did get seated and had our food in a reasonable time. The beer my husband had was a short, but we thought it was pretty tall!!

Had dinner here last night! We had never been to this location. It was really cold outside but it was freeeeeeezing in the restaurant! I actually put my jacket on and we weren't seated right by the doors. We were by a window but so cold! Wear layers! Food: good overall! Their salsa is great and chips were fresh! Hubby got the fajita burrito and ate the entire thing! Said it was good and he enjoyed it! I got the vegetarian dinners #2 which was good! I should know not to order the tostados as the shell on the bottom is always soggy by the time I get there but overall fine! My cheese burrito was literally a giant chunk of cheese, which is totally fine by me but I guess I had been hoping for a little more! The red sauce on top was pretty oily and there was a ton of it but honestly it was still really good! One downfall, granted it was Saturday there was an extremely drunk group that was super loud. The restaurant is small and I know you can't help those situations but they had us and our baby by the checkout area and they were basically checking out the entire meal!

Only Mexican in town and it is great! The dishes dont all come out at the same time but who cares! Youre in bumble fuck nowhere so dont worry about your meal being 5 stars and A++. Just be happy its there. There are tons of options and the chips and salsa are free! Plus theres a cool hotel and gas station across the highway. Yay!
We tried the pollo peligroso (chicken with a cream sauce) the el toriado (chicken, beef,shrimp and bacon over cheesy rice) the enchiladas rancheras (cheese enchiladas with pork with tomatoes, peppers and onions) everything was delicious. I even enjoyed the chips and salsa. The only thing I didn't like is the wait, but the food made it worthwhile. We would definitely stop here again when in town!
Recently went here with my parents. It seems the Los Tulipanes brand is franchising out a bit as this is and extension of http://www.yelp.com/biz/los-tulipanes-sioux-center. The menu is exactly the same and the food quality is just as good. The layout of the suite is a bit off putting, as the very light-weight doors let drafts in from the outside. We were seated fairly closely to the door and it being below freezing in Sheldon, there were shuttering cold gusts every time someone went in and out. The food quality was great however, as everyone in my party enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend as it is one of the better restaurants in Sheldon.
